I shaved my head and I feel so natural walking around without my wig on but every time I look in the mirror I want to cry. I dont cry because I think I look ugly, I can deal with that, I cry because all I can think of is me as a little girl with my long red curly hair. I loved my hair. Everyone complimented me saying “where you get that red hair from?” or “you look like a little ball of fire”. Even when I was wearing my wig, I would get stopped all the time about my hair. I just never thought I would get to the point where I would have to shave my head. Of course, there are other more horrible things that I could have to do but I feel like this fucks with me a lot. Like I just want to be able to walk around and have people be like oh damn look how pretty that girls hair is but I cant. And I might not ever be able to
